Experience Required: Experience working with children or students in a leadership capacity is an asset. Some teaching experience or practicum. Proficiency in the operation of computers, and software like the Google Classroom is an asset.

The purpose of the Secondary school teacher is to deliver and evaluate curriculum in ways that actively engage students, helping them develop critical skills and knowledge to thrive academically, pursue further education, and succeed in the future workforce.
Colchester Christian Academy (CCA) is seeking an innovative and qualified Secondary School Arts teacher for the 2026-2027 school year who would love to teach in a Christian environment. Duties and Responsibilities:
Teaching, Planning & Assessing in the Middle/High School (Grade 7, 8, 9, 11).
- Grade 7, 8, 9,11 English Language Arts
- Phys. Ed 7 & 8
The Middle/High School Teacher Will:
- Prepare, implement and assess lesson plans.
- Teach all students in a respectful, considerate, compassionate manner, reflecting Christ’s love for us daily.
- Work collegially with school staff, school-based administration and other volunteer staff.
- Understand & fundamentally agree with the School’s Mission, Core Values, and Statement of Faith
- Sign a one-year contract.
