GENERAL INFORMATION


Dress Code

Girls

  • In general, undergarments should not be seen.
  • Shirts should be modest. There should be no inappropriate pictures or language on shirts.
  • Jeans should only have open rips at the knee and below, and leggings should only be worn with tunic-length tops.
  • Athletic pants are permitted but they should be modest.
  • Shorts, skirts and dresses should be modest.
  • Phys Ed attire should follow all the above modesty requirements.

BOYS

  • In general, undergarments should not be seen.
  • Shirts should be modest. Sleeveless shirts can be worn if the underarm is not gaping. There should be no inappropriate pictures or language.
  • Jeans should only have open rips at the knee and below.
  • All pants should all be modest fitting, including shorts.
  • Athletic pants are permitted but they should be modest.
  • Phys Ed attire should follow all the above modesty requirements.

Foot Wear

    Elementary & Middle School
    All students are required to have two pairs of shoes to be left at school: an indoor pair of athletic sneakers for use in Phys Ed class in the gymnasium, and an outdoor pair.

    High School
    All students are required to have a pair of clean athletic sneakers for use in Phys Ed class in the gymnasium. Students also need a clean indoor pair of shoes for at their campus.

  • Body piercings and tattoos are expected to be appropriate (nothing in direct opposition to CCA principles or Christianity) and not draw excessive attention.
  • Any pictures or slogans, whether on clothing, jewellery or tattoos, should not contain objectionable pictures, writing or symbols depicting violence, profanity, racial or gender discrimination or that otherwise demeans an identifiable individual or group, or promotes a lifestyle contrary to the Word of God.
  • Hats are not to be worn in the school building.
  • Hair must be neat and clean.

School Supplies

School supplies are purchased by the school and provided for the student’s use.

Below is a short list of items students are required to bring on the first day, in addition to the provided supplies.

All students

  • NKJV Bible 
  • Water bottle
  • Non-marking indoor, gym appropriate, shoes (Lower levels – no laces please)
  • Backpack
  • Lunch bag

LOWER ELEMENTARY (PP-2)

  • Change of dry clothes in a bag with your child’s name
  • Grades 1-2: Pencil case 

UPPER ELEMENTARY (3-6)

  • Grade 4: Mechanical pencil with lead (optional)
  • Grade 6: Math set

Middle School (7-8)

  • Math set (compass and protractor)

High School (9-12)

  • Math set
  • Grade 9: Scientific calculator
  • Grades 10-12: Texas instrument Graphing Calculator (any Ti83 or Ti84 model), math set.
