Truth and Reconciliation: Listening, Learning, and Honoring Every Child
Today, our school community gathered for a meaningful Truth and Reconciliation Chapel—a time of reflection, learning, and commitment to a better future.
Together, we took time to learn about the history and stories of Indigenous Peoples in Canada, especially the experiences of children who attended residential schools. Through this chapel, we honored their lives and the lasting impact of this history on generations of Indigenous families and communities.
Our goal is to help students understand the importance of kindness, respect, and truth in building a more just and compassionate world. Every child matters, and today reminded us that we each have a responsibility to listen deeply, learn continually, and stand together for healing and reconciliation.
We are committed to continuing this journey—with humility, open hearts, and a desire to grow.
🧡 Let’s keep learning and walking this path—together.
