For the past couple of Friday afternoons, our school has been buzzing with excitement thanks to our Exploratories program—an amazing initiative organized by our PTO that gave students from PrePrimary to Grade 8 the chance to learn, explore, and create in new and exciting ways.
Our younger students (PrePrimary to Grade 2) rotated through four engaging stations over the weeks, including gym time, fun crafts, cooking, and hands-on science projects. These activities sparked their curiosity and helped build foundational skills in a joyful, active environment.
Meanwhile, students in Grades 3 to 8 got to choose their own exploratory adventure each week, with options like swimming, piano, skating, cooking, arts, photography, science experiments, and sports and games at the Cougar Dome. Whether trying something brand new or diving deeper into a favorite interest, students were all smiles as they explored and learned in a hands-on way.
Exploratories are a wonderful example of how we make learning meaningful and memorable. Huge thanks to our PTO for making this incredible experience possible!
